The Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world and St. Mary’s Bay is an arm of this natural wonder. Within a 24-hour period, the bay experiences two high tides and two low tides. On average the time span between tides is approximately six hours. Tide times move ahead approximately one hour each day. Visitors can expect to see at least one high tide and one low tide during daylight hours.
