The Festival acadien de Clare is the world’s oldest Acadian festival. Many activities for people of all ages take place throughout Clare, providing visitors the opportunity to visit and experience every part of this picturesque and culturally unique region. Expo Culturelle / Culture Expo!
This cultural expo is a celebration of all things Acadian, including culinary demonstrations, vendors, exhibitors, artwork, workshops and performances.
New for 2026: On Saturday, August 15, there will be an outdoor vendor area including exhibitors, food vendors/trucks, and programming on the outdoor stage.

3 pm: Société historique 50e Anniversary – Major’s Point
5:55 pm: Tintamarre (vehicles) - starts at the Rug Shack, Little Brook
7 pm: Tintamarre à Pied (foot) – from the Château to the Arena, Université Sainte-Anne
7:30: Spectacle du Quinzou – in the Arena (all ages). Food vendors ($).
11 pm: Afterparty – Chateau (19 +)
Make some noise at the Tintamarre on August 15th!
The Tintamarre is a celebratory parade, where revelers make wild noise using everything from noisemakers and horns to pots and pans. Visitors can join or cheer the car parade. Visit the Tintamarre webpage for more details!
