Visitors can join or cheer the car parade going to the Université Sainte-Anne campus, or join the marching parade from Sainte-Marie Church to the arena. Participate in the many events celebrating local cultural heritage. 8. Make some noise during the Tintamarre and celebrate National Acadian Day on August 15th ! Sixty-three years of festivities, sixty-three years of the world’s oldest Acadian street parade! Parade watchers gather from Little Brook to Université Sainte-Anne, Church Point, to cheer for creative floats, lively marching bands and much more! Follow the parade to Université Sainte- Anne to enjoy free activities, family-friendly shows and the outdoor bazaar! 7. Watch the Festival Parade on July 29th ! Celebrate the Festival acadien de Clare! 9. Party at the "Grou Tyme"! A celebration of Acadian culture and heritage since 1955, the Festival acadien de Clare is the world’s oldest Acadian festival. Many activities for people of all ages take place throughout Clare, providing visitors the opportunity to visit and experience every part of this picturesque and culturally unique region. On August 4th , enjoy a music concert featuring some of Acadie's finest.
