This family-friendly park overlooking Wentworth Lake is a great outdoor space to go for a walk in the trails, have a picnic, enjoy the slide, sit on the wooden lookout terrace, and simply enjoy the beautiful lake views. 

Acadian Skies & Mi’kmaq Lands encompasses Argyle, Clare, and Yarmouth municipalities in southwestern Nova Scotia. The region is the first destination in North America to receive a Starlight certification and is one of only four places in the world to receive both Reserve and Destination designations by the Starlight Foundation, an organization supported by UNESCO.

Established in the sheltered harbour in 1992, the Meteghan Marina has evolved into a modern floating concrete wharf with 16 attached finger piers accommodating up to 32 boats.

Visit La Vieille Maison, considered the best-preserved example of a post-exile Acadian dwelling in Canada. Reopening date: TBD.

A large stone cross stands in Grosses-Coques as a memorial to the first church. The monument remains a symbol of the Acadian pride and spirit, a reminder of the hardships and humble beginnings of this township.
